The Robot Locomotion & Biomechanics Laboratory (RLB Lab) at Tufts University was founded by Assistant Professor Matthew Woodward within the School of Engineering. We are dedicated to enhancing robot mobility, adaptability, and robustness in unstructured environments through fundamental research in three focus areas: morphological intelligence, multimodal locomotion, and advanced actuation.
